I have 4 children and learning to parent their four very different personalities has been my greatest joy and greatest challenge.

I LOVE sports and coach my children’s baseball teams.

Gardening is one of my passion and I enjoy canning what I cultivate for my family.

I am an avid reader and love to hike.

MY STORY

Growing up, I never anticipated having children. But life had different plans for me and over the next 10 years, I had 6 children, two who became angel babies.

In my first 3 births, there were things was missing, which left me having negative birth experiences. These births lacked comfort, support, and trust. It wasn’t until the birth of my 4th, that I got the comfort and support that I needed! I then realized how empowering birth could be and wanted to become a doula. I left the birth center feeling GOOD and that’s when I learned mom's and dad's deserve an intrinsic and supported experience as they move into parenthood.

I started training as a birth doula in 2014 and have been passionately supporting couples since. It is my sincerest wish that all families are supported in all birth scenarios fully and unconditionally, so they feel seen and cared for the entire way through to meeting their baby.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Pregnancy and birth is such a vulnerable and transcending time for birthing parents and their partners. As I serve many high risk clients, who are navigating gestational diabetes, inductions or other medical challenges in their pregnancy, my goal is to empower them with education and support.

Each woman has an individual story to write during the childbearing year and I feel doulas help cultivate the inner power of that story.  Whether my client is planning an unmedicated birth or a scheduled induction, I am there to help them experience a positive birth. To encourage her to trust her body and provide her with information as she meanders all avenues of birth.

It is very important to me to help partners connect with this process as they are an integral part in the story. I am passionate about ensuring that the couple feels comfortable, supported, and heard throughout their entire birth journey.

What Clients Say...

"I was very blessed to have found Brittany about three weeks before I gave birth. I cut the whole thing a bit close, but she really worked with me to make sure I was ready in time. We discussed all my hopes and fears and I'm convinced her presence helped me have a birth in which many of my hopes came true. She supported my entire family and I loved her approach which was very open minded."'

"Brittany was absolutely amazing! She was there right when I needed her and got right to work making the room less hospital like. She guided my husband so that he was able to have a role in our baby's birth and coached me through every contraction. She knew exactly what I needed and when I needed it. Great experience with Brittany and I would use her over and over!"

"Brittany had several prenatal meetings with us. She educated us on pregnancy, labor, and childbirth. She was able to answer any questions I had and provide extra information. I was induced and she came to the hospital as soon as I said I needed her. She stayed with us for the 2 day induction process and helped me though over 30 hours of labor. She took pictures and videos for us to have memories. She stayed for a little while after our baby was born to help ensure our skin to skin and first latch. We were never able to get together after she was born, but she answered several questions for me via text message. Overall I had a wonderful experience with her and hope to utilize her in the birth of future children."

"Brittany was my Doula for my third child. All of my pregnancies were very challenging, but this was my first experience with a Doula. From the moment I met her and had our first meeting Brittany was methodical, relatable and kind; she instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable.  Brittany stayed in constant contact during all of my many appointments..sometimes three per week. During my birth she stayed with me during checks and procedures that my husband was more than happy to take a break during haha. It was so nice to have someone there to help me convey my needs and wants at such a vulnerable time and her professional experience shined through. I ended up having a c-section and Brittany was there every step of the way for that too!  Having a Doula was definitely one of the best choices I've ever made and I highly recommend Brittany!"
