Prenatal Breastfeeding Visit

What You’ll Learn

  • What to do in the first hour after birth (this matters more than you think)
  • How to get a good latch + positioning (and what to do if there’s pain)
  • How to know if your baby is actually getting enough milk
  • When and how often to feed (hunger cues, timing, what’s normal)
  • Cluster feeding—what it is and how to survive it
  • Common challenges like engorgement, nipple pain, plugged ducts & mastitis
  • Red flags: what’s not normal and when to get help
  • Pumping, bottle feeding, and real-life planning
  • The most common reasons moms quit—and how to get through those moments
  • How partners can actually support breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is natural… but it’s also learned

And most challenges don’t come from doing something “wrong”—
they come from not having the right support early enough.

Our Prenatal Lactation Visit helps you get ahead of that.

Why this matters

Instead of Googling at 2am or feeling unsure in those first days…

You’ll:

  • Feel more confident from the very beginning
  • Avoid common mistakes, reduce pain and complications
  • Recognize what’s normal vs. when to get help
  • Have a plan in place before you’re sleep-deprived
