Tidbits About Me

Lifelong skier since age 2, and now my favorite runs are with my kids!

I love gardenting, exploring local shops, and finding small moments of peace in nature.

I have a soft spot for humor and connection. I believe laughter, warmth, and authenticity can make hard seasons feel lighter.
My Doula Journey
MY STORY
I birthed my son at home, and my daughter at a birth center. Both experiences were wonderful, amazing, exhilarating, and transcendental! I felt loved, supported, and celebrated by my midwives and doula. I came to realize, though, that my experience sadly was not the norm.
Many of the moms who shared their birth stories with me had very different, sometimes even traumatic, stories to tell. I knew in my heart that I wanted to make a difference in my birth community so I became a doula. I strive to make this difference by supporting expectant parents every step of the way, providing education on how wonderful birth can be, so they can give birth without fear!
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe birth is a transformative experience, and my goal as a doula is to help families have a birth they can look back on as positive and empowering. I believe everyone deserves to be informed, supported, and truly heard throughout the birthing process.
I'm passionate about helping parents know their options, including the risks, benefits, and alternatives. I'm there to create a safe space for families to make decisions that feel right for them!
Our bodies are capable of doing the incredible work of bringing new life into the world, and that deserves to be celebrated.
