Birth / Postpartum Doula (She/Her)

My Story

I certified as a postpartum doula right after completing my birth training. I knew without a doubt I wanted to walk alongside families through the fourth trimester, a time that can feel really challenging and tender. My goal is to make a positive difference in that experience by lightening both the physical and mental load, so parents have more space to rest, recover, and actually enjoy those early moments with their baby

My Philosophy

New families are too often isolated after birth, especially if they don't have family nearby. It is such a vulnerable time that is not meant to be navigated alone. Having a doula come in and listen to your concerns, provide you with rest, teach newborn care skills or give additional resources is invaluable.

When things feel chaotic or overwhelming, I am there to bring a sense of calm. I believe Postpartum is intended to be a time for healing, bonding with the new baby and allowing others to care for you!

Charley Anderson (She/Her)

I’m very close with my family and so proud to be an aunt to my two nieces and one nephew.

My Story

I decided I wanted to become a Postpartum Doula when I was in nursing school. I was drawn to L&D but realized nursing wasn’t the right fit for me—instead, I found my love for doula work. I discovered how meaningful postpartum support felt to me. Educating clients on newborn care, supporting new moms, and being a hands-on caregiver to newborns became the work that brought me the most joy. As a Postpartum Doula, I get the opportunity to truly get to know my clients and support them through the newborn phase, which isn’t always an easy season to navigate.

My Philosophy

I want more families to know that postpartum doulas exist and understand how much support they can bring during the postpartum period. I also hope that one day doula care becomes more accessible to every family. In my experience, postpartum is often when families need the most support—there are so many big changes happening all at once, paired with exhaustion and lack of sleep. Caring for a newborn is a lot, not only for first-time parents but for seasoned parents too. I love helping families find what works best for them, and I often bring a bag of swaddles, carriers, and other tools for parents to experiment with so together we can discover the right fit for each individual baby. My goal is to make families feel more supported, more confident, and less alone as they settle into life with their newest addition.

My Story

After having my first baby in 2016, I found myself in over my head. I loved my baby deeply, but the transition into parenthood was much harder than I expected. Becoming a parent changed my relationship with myself, my body, my identity, and the way I moved through the world.Like many new parents, I struggled during the postpartum period. Once I found the help I needed, I began to enjoy parenting in a new way and realized how life-changing the right support can be.That experience inspired me to learn how to better support families during their own transition into parenthood.

My Philosophy

My hope is to help parents feel informed, cared for, and less alone, so their postpartum experience can feel supported, peaceful, and connected. I show up for clients without judgement, and offer tender care for families so they can focus on the important work of healing, sleeping, eating, and caring for themselves and their babies. I am also passionate about connecting families with resources and referrals that will help them learn, heal in this sacred time.

My Story

After working as a birth doula, I saw so clearly how intense, emotional, and vulnerable those first days and weeks after birth can be and how much families still need care, reassurance, and grounding during that time. I realized that support doesn’t just end once the baby is born and so I became a postpartum doula. I wanted to continue showing up for families when everything is new, overwhelming, and tender, and help them feel more supported as they adjust to life with a newborn.

My Philosophy

Postpartum support matters because the transition after birth is just as intense and life changing as birth itself. Families need care, reassurance, and practical help while they heal, adjust, and learn their new rhythm. Having support during that time can make people feel less overwhelmed, more confident, and more connected to their baby and themselves. I’m able to read the room and understand what’s needed without much direction, and I naturally step in to help in a way that feels supportive and seamless. I really try to meet moms exactly where they’re at and support them in a way that helps them feel more confident and capable by the time I leave.

My Story

As a social worker, I have always had tremendous care for folks moving through life transitions. Honestly, Postpartum doula support is something I stumbled into enjoying am so glad I did! I I quickly realized there was a lot of joy, need, grief and identity change in the postpartum period that needed supporting and i loved coming alongside in that important time. All parents deserve community and support through the challenges and transition of bringing home a new baby, so they don’t feel alone.

My Philosophy

When parents are able to step away, rest, and take care of their own needs, it supports them in caring for their baby in a more sustainable and grounded way. My goal as a postpartum doula is to help clients build skills and confidence they can keep using long after I’m gone. I believe in intentional, compassionate support and on asking real questions so I can truly understand how my clients are feeling and how they’re doing.

My Story

Postpartum work feels deeply personal to me because I know how vulnerable and overwhelming that season can be. I was a young mother myself, and looking back there are so many ways I wish I had been supported and cared for during that transition.I became passionate about helping families not just survive postpartum, but actually feel held through it. I love helping create calmer homes, more confident parents, and softer landings after birth.

My Philosophy

When parents feel supported, nourished, and cared for, everything shifts. People heal better, feel less isolated, and are able to settle into parenthood with more confidence and connection. Clients often tell me that I bring a calming and grounding presence into their home. I try to make things feel less overwhelming and more manageable, whether that means helping with newborn care, making food, tidying up, or simply helping someone take a deep breath and feel cared for.

My Story

My whole life, I have been a natural caretaker, especially when it comes to babies, and the people that I hold dear. During my pursuit in a physcology degree, I learned about the importance of postpartum doula support; the immense relief, healing, and lasting positive effects it can have on parents and children. I knew this is the work I was meant to do it. With my experience as an infant room teacher, I knew I wanted to offer more personalized support to families, so I took the plunge and became a doula. I have had the honor of supporting families ever since and am so grateful to have found my passion and purpose in this work.

My Philosophy

Postpartum is a time in life when people can feel their most raw, transformed, and in need of support, yet so many families are systemically under-supported during this transition. Having trusted, caring postpartum support that is individualized to your needs can be deeply empowering with a lasting impact on the entire family’s well-being. Clients describe my support as gentle, compassionate, and clear. I bring a calm presence and a readiness to support parents without judgment in whatever ways they need. I believe postpartum is transformative, and I hope to help new parents feel empowered, seen, and deeply cared for during this season.

My Story

I feel like I happened upon this work, and I'm so grateful I did. I was looking for a job while pregnant, and found a business that was doula-owned, that allowed babies at work. I got to witness first hand doulas working with new moms, and was enamored. I knew this support was something I wanted to provide to others! My personal postpartum journey was a wild ride, for lack of better words, that it only solidified how passionate I am about this work.

My Philosophy

The postpartum journey can be challenging. The physical and mental changes that occur after having a baby surprises most moms—and even when they are prepared, it’s hard to understand the intensity of it until you’re living it. That’s why I’m passionate about providing doula care that uplifts, honors, and enhances each family’s postpartum experience. I show up knowing that every journey is unique, and my goal is to offer support that feels personalized, compassionate, and meaningful. I am passionate to help families feel cared for in the little and big ways, seen in their experience, and more able to settle into this new season with confidence.
